In these present times, weddings are a lot like stage show – a big event with assortment of strut, sets and enactment. They are only few people involved in the vent, with dozens playing more involved parts. Between the parents the bride and groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen, the maid of honor and the best man, as well ushers, musicians, sponsors and the hosts, there a bundle of personality roles to instruct. That includes the two roles that can be neither the hardest nor the easiest to manage – the ring bearer and the flower girl.

The ring bearer is usually a young boy and traditionally a child but they should be old enough that they can act together with adults they do not know and so that they can understand what their task is. However, it’s not exclusively uncommon to have a girl as a ring bearer. The main task of the ring bearer is they carry the ring pillow, on which the rings are sitting. It is suggested the pillow should be at least specifically made for the event as they will be likely to be sized and shaped appropriately for the role.
On the wedding day, during the ceremony the ring bearer will walk down the aisle before or with the flower girl. It is essential to keep in mind that the ring bearer is young enough to play the part but old enough to understand and hold the situation. Along with the flower girl they will likely to be the center of photos at least a few times over the course of the day.
